Yeah, when you search for TC you get 8 bajillion results. This will be a short one I assume:
Took the Z through a (brushless) car wash just to knock the dust off. It’s about 3 miles home, and after completing a turn (read: I was aimed straight down the road) nearly home I got on it just a smidge. I did not feel the rear break loose, but the car cut power so hard it through me into the seat belt. Twice. I didn’t see anything flashing on the dash but to be fair I wasn’t looking when it happened.
My question is: is this normal TC behavior? It felt like something broke, but it drove home normal, gauges are normal, and sounds normal.
Normal? No, it should not just slam you into the seatbelts under moderate throttle when pointed straight.
That said, the system is designed to be able to cut throttle if it needs to, and the active handling system can apply some brakes to prevent slides. So while the capability is there, the situation is not normal.
Yeah, it wasn’t something gentle or gradual. It was literally like the engine just stopped and the brakes were hammered. If I’d hit a wall at 10mph it would feel like that. Split second only, both times.

Sounds similar to the TPMS issues leading to AH misbehaving. All 4 tires reading pressure?
Fortunately (not really) I'm taking her in to check an oil leak, I'll mention this to the guys as well. I need to sell this thing and go back to an LS3.

Unfortunately all the issues with TC, AH, and TPMS are found on all model of C6.
So I drove to work today because it's hot and sunny and not supposed to rain. Guess what? Monsoon. Getting on the freeway it happened again. It's weirdly violent, as in immediately cutting all power for a split second. I wasn't hard on the gas, but wet roads and Z06 gets you there lol!
Going with water in one of the connector, that cause not only TC to glitch, but AH as well.
Hence TC will just cut engine power, while AH will kick in a brake or two on a corner of the car, when it thinks it has problems with the tires not all rotating at the same speeds and it needs to step in to save you.
If problem resolved at connectors dried back out, then would start going though speed hub sensor connectors, EBCM connector, and maybe even double check the VSS connector as well with clean up, and touch of dielectric grease to make sure they are sealing/water proof.
Or, if you going to use this car wash again and not checking connectors, and guessing it has under car spray as well, then let the car sit for a few mins after it washed, to allow the connectors that may be allowing water in, to dry back out on there own before you drive the car again
For the love of Christ, don't hold the TC Button down for .5 second to turn off all Nannies with wet tires and a LS7, since car is just going to try to kill you, no matter how ginger you try to drive the car.
And when your checking connectors, to the side of the oil tank on the passenger fender wall, check the connector there for problems, since the two rear wheel hubs for the speed sensor wires are on the connectors (C180/C184/C186) as well, since its a junction point for the wires from the front of car, to the items on the back of the car like the two rear hub speed sensor wires during assembly.
