Traction control button broken
I removed my center console and traction control button doesn’t work anymore after replacing. Doesn’t work As in button won’t physically push down….its like something is blocking it. Plan on taking console apart again and hoping I can get some guidance as to why it’s not pushing down. How easy is it to replace the whole thing if I have to?

You can buy the part on Amazon. Your problem is that the button is probably not coming up, not that it won't go down. There should be some black rubbery piece with a contact that is under the button. If you disconnected it, that rubbery piece probably fell out and this is what pushes the button back up. Looks like this, (borrowed picture form another thread)

I broke mine when replacing a shift cable bushing. I left the wires poking through the hole so when the new one came it was an easy fix. Amazon FTW. Anyway it just snaps in the hole.
