Hello Everyone,
I purchased a 2012 Grand Sport with 13,000 miles. I've had it for about 2-3 weeks now and it had a large amount of issues pop up while driving today.
I got a message about a front Tire Pressure Monitor needing to be serviced. This was then followed by a check engine light (I haven't been able to get a reader yet to check code), and two warnings related to servicing the ABS System and Traction Control System.
To add insult to injury, my passenger window got stuck shut on the same drive, with my driver window now making scraping noises.
Voltages seem to be in acceptable ranges according to other posts on the forum so I am not entirely sure this is battery related.
Outside of all of the lights on the dash, the car was driving perfectly fine. Any ideas on where to start?
Yes....1) charge and load test battery....2) get a code reader which includes ABS/SRS capabilities and scan the car.
And, if you are getting TPMS signals, check the age of the tires as they could be very old. In fact. with 13,000 miles on the car, I'm betting they are original. The batteries in the sensors don't last forever.

Check battery and ground connections. These cars are incredibly sensitive to voltage fluctuations and will set of all kinds of false codes and warnings that are really just communication issues between the various modules. You may have to go further and check the big module plugs. Sometimes just unplugging and replugging them will clean the contacts. Be careful not to bend any pins.
The CEL, ABS and TCS are all related! if there is any fault detected in the engine, it will immediately set off the other 2 codes.
Is it running rough at idle? CHECK COILS, WIRES AND PLUGS FOR PROPER SPARK
If running rough at idle, does it clear up and seem to be OK at 2500 RPM and greater? LIKELY STALE GAS!
Like stated before, get a scanner and see what codes pop up.
I might of missed it, how old is the battery, when you get crazy codes it's sometime the battery, even though it starts great, don't be fooled.
Also if TPMS sensors start giving false reading of low pressure when you see XXXX the sensor is dead, and if one is going chances are others will follow.
A reading of XX from a TPMS sensor means that the car couldn’t communicate with the sensor. The sensor might have a dead or weak battery, or something interfered with the communication between the sensor and the car. I sometimes get the latter problem.
Thank you for the help. I replaced the battery. The battery inside was new as of January 2025 but looks as the previous owner/dealership let it sit too long and it was on its way out. The new battery seems to have fixed the issues. Voltages were not fluctuating as much as previous battery.
