But for those who aren't sure - you should at least check out the Nav and see its usefulness first hand. I haven't seen a GM nav system yet, but the Acura nav system is very easy to use.
I do agree that giving up the in-dash 6-disk CD changer is very unfortunate. It's really a shame that they could not find a way to incorporate both for those that want them...

That's the issue. Since I will be driving and my wife the passenger 99% of the time, the NAV is very practical since she isn't a natural born map reader. This might aleviate any arguments about directions. :boxing

If you use your corvette to explore remote places and buying a 5 dollar map is too much hassle, whats another 2 grand right? 99 percent of your/anyones driving is gonna be in places where they know where they are. Spend the cash on something that counts, like a Corsa Tigershark exhaust and B&B headers

I would get it, if only for ease of resale. (When I would sell it.) $2,000 is a lot though.
I didn't think that I would like the HUD on my C5, but saw the trouble that one of my friends had trying to sell his C5 Coupe when he purchased his Z06. (The Coupe was Flawless, but it did not have the option of interest, HUD.) He ended up trading it. I didn't even want it.
