I have seen the interior and read a lot of complimentary comments of it being nice....but, I am disappointed with that fact that this is a $50k+ car and the appearance could have been more eye appealing. The use of plastic "aluminum" on the console and the faces of the radio and heater/AC controls are very plain at best. One feature I noticed immediately was the loss of the embroidery of CORVETTE on the backs of the seats like the C5. I am one that likes small details that set an expensive car apart from the everyday car. I am anxiously waiting for my museum delivery, TPW 9/27.....I hope aftermarket suppliers offer some subtle add-ons to improve the interior looks.
Well the C6 interior is a HUGE jump over the C5's. And performance is better too, along with everything else. I don't know how much profit GM makes per car at this price, but I figure it's a healthy amount. Sure some things could've been done to spice it up more, but you'll always have to pick performance vs. "Audi" interior. Prime example, the M3 has a very very nice interior, but its performance is hugely disappointing, and their sticker price is unreal, same situation with the Boxter S. Both are around $60K+, comparatively the C5 and now C6 are much lower priced. Maybe I'm just not into a "Lexus" or "Audi" interior IN A SPORTS CAR, but when I drive the Vette, the interior is the furthest thing from my mind. Now if you're talking about a luxury sedan, it's a different story.
One of my biggest complaints with the C6 is that no matter what color interior you get, you are still faced with lot's of black. Upper doors and dash on all colors, and even the carpet is black on every color except Cashmere. I thought the special edition C5's that had no black were a preview of things to come on the C5.
From what I have seen I'd agree. I'm hoping it will look better to me in person than in photos.

I've seen it several times. While it doesn't look terrible, it could have looked lots better. I have an Audi A8L with real aluminum trim in the interior and it looks nice. Wish GM had gone the other way.
C5 interior is more "aggressive sport" and C6 is more luxury. I like the C5 interior a LOT better but I guess you can't have everything. Ebony in the C5 is a true black. Ebony in the C6 is a dark grey.

Looks like GM could have done a better job of letting us know about the different colors we would have on the interior.

Funny, I dont see it as a "Huge" jump from the C5. To me the whole dash layout is EXACTLY the same. I really dont see much of a "quality" change either. All I see is the use of different "Textures" the material the "Textures" are made from really don't seem all that better to me. Yes they added Silver plastic here and there, but the basic layout and "General" quality only seem slightly upgraded to me. Now when you look at loaded Vert sitting in the low 60K price range this interior and its materials are pure "poopie" (for lack of the better word) compaired to what you get in say the folding top Lexus in the same price bracket.
