First, thanks for the comments. The front of the C6 Z is similar to the C5 where you can cut the bushings on the adjusters to lower it more. The rear is different, you can't just install longer bolts, it's just like the front. I started by taking the bolts out and cutting the bushings, reinstalled them all the way down. I looked good, but I wanted more. I ended up talking the front bolts completely out and leaving the rear adjusting bolts in. This is as low as you can get it in the front. I wanted to be able to adjust the rear up alittle because I like a little rake in the car. I also took all shocks off and cut the bump stops down so there will be enough travel. I haven't aligned it yet, but even without a correct alginment, the car seems to turn in better and rides like stock. It's low, but still very drivable. Going into my driveway, I have to go at a angle and the bottom lower air dam just touches alittle. The uppersplitter doesn't come close. I still want it driveable for the wife, so my modding will be conservative..

As far as wheels, I haven't decided what I'm going to do. The blk wheels look great, but I don't want to copy my buddy John Pages Z. I'm still looking around.

phantasms, I can't wait until you get your car and you are right about the sticker..

here's a side shot..

car looks great and I liked getting another peak at that nasty TA

I still love those cars. just read about your camaro in popular hot rodding. very nice!!

I still have a burning desire to do a TT 70-73 formula or TA with a BB chevy as the basis. I have a spare 605 bowtie engine lying around that might just end up there. heavy, but NICE!!!!

SW, if you you see a "non matching" MUTT TA or better still formula with a nice body (no rust, good paint) give me a shout. prefer the automatic, but drive train isn't too important.

I think the black z really looks HOT

say hi to the TX gang for me.

SW, what wheels are you going to put on the car, Fikse or HRE's. The car looks strong dropped.

That car looks like trash...

Georgie did a nice job lowering it

I told you what wheels you need.. 19/20" Iforged Aeros, or 19/20" fully polished FM5's...

Was wondering if you could measure the clearance under the center of the nose -- I think this is called the splitter.

On mine, without any mods, it is sitting at 4".

Thanks.
