I Feel Like a Big Boy!!!
Traded in my '07 C6 Coupe (1 month old) for a new '07 Z06 (Black/Ebony, 2LZ, Nav, Chrome Wheels, OnStar)!!!!!

At first I was going to find a car that was comfortable to commute in. The C6 A6 w/ F55 was a great choice. I have always driven high performance cars, but was concerned that Z06 would be too stiff day to day. After driving the Z on Friday, i realized that the suspension feel on rough roads was not drastically different than it was with F55 and it was very similar to Z51.
After test drive, I got back in C6 and it felt slow. Very strange but true. I don't track cars and never exceed triple digits speed, but I almost always get the top model of what I buy. Whether Maserati GranSport, Porsche 911s, C4S, Turbo, MB-AMG, etc...
Honestly, the base car had more than enough performance, but I truly love the appearance of the Z. The wheels, tires, vents, scoops, front end, wheel arches, etc... I never take the roof off and I actually love driving MN6 over A6. While the performance is intoxicating and the potential is nice to have, I just like having the best.

You're preaching to the choir my friend. It is amazing how the Z06 looks so different than the standard C6. That's what finally sold me.

I rarely visit general anymore as it's turned into a minefield for Z owners....certainly not from the majority but enough to sour the experience.
Anyhoo, I did exactly the same as you, bought a coupe & 2 months later traded "up" to a Z06. Oh lord, should I have put it that way....
