Mike,
Wow, these dealer installed options are great; did you get the color matching door handle strips too?
Thanks for letting me touch her last week, haven't washed my hands yet. See you at VIR

Complicated . . . and I'm not much for reading instructions! What's with that oil filter? Never saw anything like it before . . .

Pretty . . . that's the other word that comes to mind. With everything brand spankin' new, so clean you could eat off of the undercarriage. Just don't go out to play after a hard rain, and drop a wheel after "PATIENCE", that corner gets 'swampy', and I don't want to be washing the Beast, I want to be watching it!

My guess, you'll win who get's out of the shop first!

Congratulations

Thank you... for those of us who don't have the spending ability... you're doing, in reality, what almost all of us have daydreamed about at one time or another.

Building a no expense spared, purpose-oriented, beast... you're going to freak people out at HPDEs.

Is the car built to compete in any particular class if you choose to do so?

The car looks GREAT, Mike. Yes, I agree with the clutch bleeder. Hey, I could use one of those vacuum bleeders, or, Hmmm, Maybe it is a gas bleeder I need!

Actually, it may fit into NASA ST1, depending on power at the rear wheels. It takes about 550hp at the wheels to get bumped into SU. I'd rather rather back down to ST1 and have some competition, than run SU by myself (been there, done that).

I plan replace my little 306hp ls1 with a real motor and move from ST2 to ST1 next year (or whenever I get the chassis dialed in). It would be fun to rub fenders with you at VIR or Rd Atlanta.....because my paint doesn't look as good as yours

Default Out of the Closet!!!

Short-Throw, Jason and Adam.....

I have been out of the loop for many months.

Jason: I still have the 1/18th Katech Z06 to finish for you. I have not forgot. I will be painting in a few weeks.

Adam: Great to meet ya and thanx for turning me on to Short's amazing ride.

Mr. Short-Throw..I have been watching your progress and making plans. I do 1/18th scale custom die-cast Vettes. Mostly I work with Callaways, but this is too good to pass. I talked to Adam at the NCM about a scale copy...I have been unable to start because of work, but I want to start soon. I will dove-tail with your progress threads if you do not mind.....mike

Nice work! What a craftsman. Between Mike's build and your scale models this thread is full of talented people.

Hey Mike. After staring at those Brembo's and thinking about the Pirelli's and your curb weight, I think it may actually be more fun stomping on the brake pedal than the gas pedal (If that's possible)!! Can't wait to see it!!
