I need OEM chrome. His are OEM and then chromed aftermarket and won't match due to the barrel being chromed. Thanks though.

Don't buy them from a normal dealer, they are like $1750 ea with core.... Found out the hard way. You may luck out with waiting and looking on Ebay, but it's prolly gonna take a while to find one. Everyone has them, but it seems you can't get a good deal on them to save your life when you need one.

Gene:

Are your wheels factory GM Chrome wheels?

Reason I ask is because I am looking for a set of factory chrome Z06 wheels for my 2007 Z06. What is your price for a set of chrome wheels outright? Would you consider an exchange?

Thanks for your time.

West Coast Corvettes does a GM Chrome Exchange. Cost $749.95. The rims are factory rim chromed. But if you buy outright there reproduction. www.westcoastcorvette.com.

That is a great way of getting the chrome wheels. Does anyone know if west coast chrome is as good or better than OEM chrome?

Sure no problem, I did the exchange on my 92 C4 Corvette, and they where very nice chrome rims and cover for three years on one piece rims.

I never had factory chrome wheel, but westcoastcorvette chrome rims are very nice, I had them on my C4 Corvette and they held up nice. They give a three year warranty on one piece rims. I was going to do the chrome exchange on my 02 Z06 but stuck with stock painted ones.

Hi Joe,

I do sell the Genuine GM chrome wheels. I don't accept any type of exchanges as I really don't sell used parts. I don't have the tools necessary while I'm on the forum to price out wheels. If you want to send me an email or give me a call I'll be happy to check it out for you.

Thanks. Gene.

There OEM GM Rims for the chrome exchange. When you buy them outright, there not GM OEM Rims, not sure who make them though.

Chrome Exchange are OEM wheels that have had chrome plating added at an aftermarket chrome shop. Each set sent to them in exchange gets sent to the chrome shop. The other wheels are repro's. Repro's can come from most anywhere although that doesn't mean they are bad.
