Can you elaborate on the hard Chrome on the cam? This is news to me. I have seen hard overlay cams done for NASCAR but that's a pretty exotic environment. I really doubt GM does anything past the standard induction hardening that is done to regular cams.

This tech is a Corvette guy - look around my car at his area...and my car wasn't that clean when it got there. He's being very thorough. Ordered rockers just because it's an '07. I suspect he's going to be replacing everything he can. I have to find out if he likes Scotch or something else without tipping him off that I intend to thank him for his efforts.
