Me too!

Unfortunately Tom's shop is 180 miles south of Seattle close to Portland so I can't just run in and snap a few pictures.

We've been in the mode of not much happening waiting for parts. However, sounds like most parts arrived last week so mock-up assembly happens this week. They want to check clearences of the rotating assembly with the ARE oil pan and the steel girdle, and the custom Arias forged pistons with the LPE ported heads.

I heard a rumor the the Pfadt Carbon Fiber drive shaft arrived:

And the Pfadt Featherlight double adjustable shocks will ship this week:

I believe some of the goodies from Katech are due in soon as well:

The hope is the Katech modified ZR1 clutch assembly with aluminum flywheel combined with the Pfadt CF drive shaft should lighen up the rotating assembly enough to make up for replacing the GM Titanium rods with the forged steel Callies rods.

Geesh, writing this up is getting me excited. Might just have to run down there this week...

Dean,
That's going to be one awesome Z! And built to last too.
I hope I get a chance to see it at one of the local tracks soon.

I sent you a PM also...

The PCA event at the new track in Shelton, The Ridge, on April 7th will probably be it's first event. That gives us four plus weeks to get it together and throughly tested. New car on a new track seems appropriate. I have four other April events scheduled already.

Greg, I have responded to your PM.

Dean, what made you decide to replace the Moton reservoir style shocks you had previously?

When does the roll-bar get installed?

Looking good so far.

But most people who have done upgrades have had absolutely nothing wrong, myself included. This looks like an entirely valid reason.

Did a package deal on a bunch of new Pfadt equipment. This will give them a rolling marketing tool here in the Pacific Northwest.

I was satisfied with the Motons but have heard good things about the Pfadt DA remote reservoir units. Can't wait to try them out!

The Motons will be looking for a new home (for sale)...

Trying to decide what to do about a roll bar. Hope to get one in this spring.

I was concerned about the streetability of the Stage 3, so went with a custom grind that's basically a Stage 2 3/4. Part was ordered before we talked about your Stage 3.

Time will tell once I get the car back and then have a chance to drive your and Sean's cars to compare.

You can drive my car again, as long as you remember that I wil have 3 more HP than you (due to the cam)

Now all you have to do is figure out how to get your car to TA012!

Wow, what a build! Wish I could be in Shelton on 4/7 but have to work instead. Clearly I have to get down to Vancouver and see Tony's shop.

Very nice build, Kent. Do you know or could you find out the difference in weight between the stock pistons and the Arias? Also, the difference in the weight between the stock crank and the Callies?
Thanks.
Gary
