They arrived !!!!

I was always a bit worried going the route you took with the modified base rear end as I run purely on a 17" drag radial tire (or the 26x11.50x17 bias when M/T made them) and not stiff sidewalled slicks

Only way to get gears and stick with a stick is to go for the Moser conversion. Do not wish to hack up the car at this time. 4.10s in the IRS will work but not as effective.
Sounds like a blast.

My NASCAR Taurus road race car had a Franklin quick change that you could get gears in steps of .03. Each HD set cost $85.

got my tracking number this morning so parts are on the way i assume.
quick thanks to all who played a apart in getting these to market as i am at the point i cant drive my car due to the pure suffering sound the poor old diff is currently making.
We are going to have to learn how to build up this diff as there is no one in this part of the world who i know of that does these diffs. We have the tools so i guess we will just take our time and get a nice tooth pattern.
Is there a break in procedure in with the gear set?

My diff required a bit more love'n LOL
Parts ordered and should be here next week.
I also went ahead and upgraded the stub axles and put in new side gears, to go along with the carbon clutches, springs, and new pinion bearing.

It started as a rear end whine under throttle......the rear pinion bearing was going out. It coincided with my waiting for the rear gears to come out (last December), but decided to drive the car anyways. I even (unwisely) took it to a test and tune to dial in my LNC-2000 for no-lift shifts (ran 1/8th mile and no hard launches). One day I was aggressively accelerating away from a light (pesky GT500 owners ) , and upon decel I heard the noise that sounded consistent with when a torque tube bearing takes a dump. I was within a 1/4 of my home so I was able to limp into the garage and begin the disassembly process
FYI - while this is in the C5 section, it's an awesome thread on the disassembly and repairing of a rear diff....the pics alone are great info
