Default I've narrowed it to two Zs...

https://www.corvetteforum.com/c6-corvettes-for-sale/3193590-2008-black-black-zo6-1lz-tx.html

Or

http://bit.ly/15rd3MD

Pros and cons for both.
Black - heads, so no vg issues, slightly more power, HRE wheels BUT Id be 5th owner, 1LZ and higher mileage

Blue - Rare color, 1 owner car, low miles, 2LZ, but will need head job eventually

Ugh. If you were in my shoes, what would you do? Pricing will work out the same, maybe blue being a little less.

The JetStream blue car, there were just over 1k made (add: in that year '08). But over the four years it was available, it is pretty rare in terms of 4 model years.

'08=1006 JSB Z06's
'09=231 '' ''
'10=34 '' ''
'11=28 '' ''
total=approx 1299 JSB Z06's in 4 model years it was available-one of the lowest.

The JSB car is also modified if it has over 600 hp....so the heads may have been done on it as well. I would rather have a one owner car, but that's me.

I will be calling speed Monday to see if heads were worked. With 550rwhp I would think so.

I agree with asking, but I wouldn't make the assumption that because of the other mods it was done. It was a non-issue/consideration for most people/cars until very recently, then hysteria broke loose.

If the guy doesn't lurk around here, he probably isn't aware of any issues with guides at all.

Def won't assume. If it made 550 with stock heads, it will be a beast with them done!!!

It is already a beast with 550whp. The additional gains from headwork is just icing on the cake

But with that cam, I definitely would address the cylinder heads.
