986 C6. Who is your daddy, and what does he do? (In my best Arnold voice)

Seriously, what do you do?

The house looks awesome and you obviously have some sweet cars. Not only do you have to be a baller to have all those, but you really have to be a baller to keep those beautiful maseratis going. Especially if they have that duo select transmission. LOL

I love that quattroporte. Those are beautiful cars and the sound is absolutely amazing.

Worked my tail off to get to where I am (read, 8 years of college and simultaneous two parttime jobs to support myself through hell). Good ol US of A, work hard and the dream is yours. BUT, wait a min, NOW, it is "work hard and pay hard!"

The Masers have been quite good to me (very lucky), 85k+ miles between the two of them and, just the clutch jobs every 25k miles or so. QP is the epitomy of 4 door sport sedan imo.

The Diavel is a beautiful bike - I think one of Ducati's best ever machines to date - looks superb
Is that an aftermarket pipe and rubber, on yours - very sexy!

Ducati in a really great product these days, much improved.
I had an original 900SS years back - Desmo bevel drive V twin - with Contis and 40mm Dellortos
Lots of drama - mostly around trying to keep it hanging together!
Wish I'd kept it mind you, with asking prices today!

Diavel is different class - I was very tempted and I could have happily had one myself but I've always had Maxes - just my thing.
Gen 2 max is a different bike from Gen1 - much improved too!
Biking fun here is unfortunately very dependent on the fortuitous positioning of the Jet Stream - I envy you your weather !
Have a great Summer!

Stock rubber, after market pipe. I've had two gen 1 VMax's and loved them. I might have gotten a gen 2 but I'm short and the seat height got higher. I also have a Honda Repsol and I'm toe to toe when seated on it, but it's just too pretty to part with. Hey, with global warming you just might be in the future best climate for motorcycle riding

I was originally shopping for a bike before I said screw it and picked up a nice C5 Z - too chicken to ride again, I had an R6, F4i and R1.

I was looking at the Vrod Muscle, Diavel, Vmax, and Speed triple...couldn't believe the Vmax when I rode it - HOLY SH*T!! Fastest thing in a straight line I have ever been on hands down, and had usable speed, not like my R1 where you had to really be careful.

But the price - was like $5000 more than even the Ducati, and when the bike I wanted was only a few grand less than a 12,900 mile C5 Z, the choice for which toy I should get was easy

Used to be you could buy a new bike for 10% the price of a new car, but not any more. Bikes are dangerous because they can actually accelerate faster then they can decelerate. The thing is when you're riding with others and they want to show how fast they are it just becomes who has the bigger ***** and somebody's going to ride over their head and crash. I like the VMax and Diavel because they're cruisers but fast and handle pretty good (nothing to prove).

Built my 2014 Laramie Ram Quad Cab to remind me of the Cooksey when it's too nasty out for her to come forth from the garage. Custom painted wheels, LineX bed, bumpers, fender flares and kick panels. Custom grill, bed rails, rollbak cover and other assorted goodies. Hemi with 3.92 gears is no Z06, but it's pretty quick for what it is. With the Magnaflows I put on, it sounds sweet as well.

Family car is a Mazda CX9 and full on summer fun is a Yamaha FJR 1300. Had a 2012 souped up VMax (196 hp to the wheel) but my wife wouldn't ride it with me! Wonder why? What a chicken…

You got that right! F4i (white with red wings) was my first and last bike.

I think the agreement with my wife is I could ride again at 55 (and I am glad, because I probably wouldn't be sitting here typing this chit right now if I was riding) due to my own stupidity or more than likely, someone elses.
