Update on the car... the adjuster came and looked at the car and has the damage up to 25000. Car has still not been jacked up and we haven't seen the damage under it. Do you think it's done ...??

Looking at the hatch I'd say think the frame is tweaked. Can they repair the aluminum frames now?

At $25K now w/ more inspection to come? It'd dead, Jim.
Start thinking replacement.

RIP. Another Z bites the dust. See if you can buy it back after they pay it off and then part it out. Might be the most you can get out of it.

Purely a WAG on my part, but it looks like you're in CA? I believe insurance companies use a formula to qualify a vehicle for total loss...something along the lines of the cost of repairs plus the current scrap value of the car must total up to be equal (or more) than the value of the vehicle prior to the loss.

So in your case, if the car was worth $32K, and the cost to repair is ~$25K, and the scrap value is determined to be $7K+ (I have no idea the true scrap value), it would be a total loss in this scenario.
