No it will not without a boost-a-pump, and even then it won't be reliable from what I hear.

Just get an actual Walbro 450. I don't think that's true.

We have different set ups for sure but my factory ZO6 pump a boost a pump and ID 1300 wouldn’t support E50, went lean at 5000rpms for what it’s worth.

Factory C6Z pump is a 255.

And as stated, don't let Tony spec you a cam or any valve train components... Next thing you know you'll have yella terras on that thing lmao

Good luck on the build!

My block is also at CPR, they will be fixing the mistakes ERL made.

Was it the one with the liners not pressed in all the way? I’ll probably be there Thursday to drop off my new pistons.. not sure if anyone caught it, but the spark plug notch in the piston is in the wrong place.. should be in the center if the two valves.. not in the middle of the intake

Oh that doesn’t sound like mine. I guess there’s another ERL block there getting fixed. It would be funnier except I’m the one paying for ERL’s mistakes haha

But if this is a track car, what have you done to address the following?
  • Brakes
  • Tires/Wheels
  • Suspension
  • Heat mitigation (radiator, oil cooler)
  • Oiling system (dry sump tank insert and oil pan baffle)
  • Aero
  • How to put E85 in your tank when the track doesn't have E85. 91 octane isn't going to cut it at 13:1
  • Safety (harness, harness bar etc)
Interesting he wants a track toy and did not address this.

Grab good pads ( Carbotech/Hawk), grab good wheels (Forgestar F14's are cheap in 18x11/13). LG CO's are cheapish at $2k. Grab a Dewitt's radiator. Mordeth can tell you about oiling mods like a baffle/larger sump. Grab ZR1 aero at least for stability. Bring E85 by the drum to a track. Grab a harness bar/Schroth 6-point/race seat to start for the inside.

Also, do a custom cam. Spend the money right the first time.

BT Stage 3 cam? Why? A custom cam will yield much more than a cookie cutter cam and cost difference is very little if any. You will leave power, RPM among other things on the table.

Why is this true? "A custom cam will yield much more than a cookie cutter cam" ?

I am I am I am lol.. that’s why I posted my build on here. Talking to Bobby @ Cam Motion and filling out the info card as we speak

with the piston valve depth he said we can get pretty rowdy.. so we will see..

Going with a walbro450.. or is there something better? 525?

thanks for all the replies by the way!
