Default I can Vouch for the Car

Hello,

My name is Darren Blanchard. I am the service Director for Ross Downing Chevrolet. I own Blanchard Performance LLC. We build cars for many of our customers at my facility. Myself and 3 of my Dealership Corvette Techs work together with our customers to build what ever they can imagine. I have worked on vettes going on 28 years now. All my techs are master certified. We take extreme pride in our work. I am positive that you will find this car to your liking. Not only that but at the price it is a steal!! I just can't believe he is parting with it, but I know he has a new dream car calling him. CTSV isn't a bad dream.

Good Luck!

Darren

Ross Downing is a great place to buy a new Corvette. One of the few dealers in the south that compete with the big forum sponsors. Many dealers don't have experienced techs like Darren that know Corvettes

Has anyone checked this car out, or otherwise can vouch for this car? Thx!
YES, I know the car and Driver quite well, both are on the up and up!
I also know the mechanic that performed all the work on the car and he is the only person I would let touch mine.
The car is very well maintained and is in excellent condition.

Hello Daniel,

No quarter mile times. Has never been on the race track. Line lock was installed because I wanted to have it in case I need it.
No after market stall. That's not necessary in this car. The factory stall is just fine. More would be overkill since I have lots of torque at low end anyway.

All others,
Thank you very much for your responses to the request posted above. I very much appreciate y'all taking the time to give some feedback.

For those within reasonable distance of Hammond, La., Blanchard Performance Engineering is the place to be for quality performance work. If I ever get the CTS-V, Guess who is going to modify that one for me? I'll get the best work available for a more affordable price right here at home.... Yep, world class performance work, right here at home.... and I would definitely drive a good way to get it if it wasn't right here.

Thats a good price and should sell for that with all those goodies/low mileage/2008 model.
The stock A6 is dabatably stronger than a rpm level 4 built A4. Then an upgraded Diff is the only thing you need to get on your way to low 10's.

msatchmo, you do not know the car, the owner, the builder, etc. If you dont know what you are talking about, stop interferring with the thread and gtfo.

To all the other people who are actually interested in this car, it is well maintained, never been beaten on, and is built by my opinion, the best around. Darren is an honest guy, who takes his time working on the vettes. He has personally worked on mine as well.

The owner of this car is very meticulous. You can definately buy with confidence.

Thanks again for all for the supporting entries. I very much appreciate the input.
Also want to add that if anyone has a need for this, financing through dealership can be arranged on the spot for anyone who qualifies.

VERY NICE car with some tasteful mods!

What are the interest rates at the dealership for your car?

Bump for you!

Hello there fred

Thank you for the compliment.

The interest rate depends on the buyers credit score. So the ability to make the purchase through the dealership would require a buyer to qualify for the purchase amount. The financing stipulations (interest and possibly a down payment) would depend on the buyer's credit score.

This would be just as though you were buying any car at the dealership. I figured that it would be a much more convenient and safe way for buyer and seller to work it this way. For a buyer who is not local, it would provide the security of dealing with a professional finance specialist at a reputable GM dealership.

Thanks for the answer!

It might also be a chance to trade a car instead of having to sell it (not yours, but mine). If only it wasn't so far away.

Bump for a nice car. My 07 Z06 is supercharged with about 5 lbs of boost and a month ago I went to Atlanta using the cruise control most of the time and turned in 30 Real Mpg by filling up and checking the miles myself. The computer said 31 and my calculations were at 30 so anything is possible. Great car at a great price. GOOD LUCK ON THE SALE

Thank you for sharing that.... I think many people don't realize how fuel efficient these cars are when used to cruise with.... and yours is a 7Liter as opposed to my 6.2. They really get unbelievable when you cruise on state highways where the speed limit is 45 and you are traveling at very low RPMs.
Thanks for the kind words

Great car. Do you have regular street tires or drag radials on the rear?

Nitto drag radials on the rear. Awesome traction!
