This is gay.

I think its obvious the guy wants attention so lets all ask him a ton of questions so he can beat around the bush
Guys, I don’t know Norm in person but he’s known around as a cool car guy. His red Lingenfelter 99 RT Viper is a legend among Viper community and still holds the NA Viper record.

He writes in caps whichever forum he posts on. That’s just the way he is.

I believe Norm’s intention in posting this thread here was to thank the entire Lingenfelter team publicly on the forum on which they are most active. If he wanted attention, he would have posted gigantic numbers a year ago and then come up with stories why he wasn’t able to reach those numbers like some other well known corvetteforum members did in the past. Instead he posted a public thank you message to the Lingenfelter team after the car is actually completed. There are other forums (not corvette forums) where Norm regularly gets more attention then he’ll ever get here.

You should be proud as the corvette society that somebody took the financial and other responsibilities of such a huge project that will eventually bring invaluable fame and recognition to corvette brand in racing.

Norm, I can’t wait to see your TT Z06 run the mile against the Hennessey Comp Coupe and SVS Viper TTRS. That beast should shatter 200 mph in the mile easy and you should be able to take over Saleen S7 TT ¼ mile number on street tires without any effort.

Good luck.

I hereby redact my previous call of shenanigans.

Norm - congrats on your project.

With that statement, and the hood pics, is it safe to assume they went with a Front mtd. TT set up?

The point was for a satisfied customer to publicly thank Lingenfelter for their hard work.

The car is obviously going to be used in a competition so it would be pretty stupid for them to tip their hat to their competitors by revealing the combo.

We'll find out in due time what's in the car and what it can do.

We know it's north of 1038 rwhp.

I'm more interested in knowing what type of block was used and the size of the turbos.

Warhawk block with some 76's?

This is a high profile car built with competition in mind. It's not a smart move to show all your cards early in the game. Suffice it to say, it is the most powerful creation to date from a company with a reputation for building some amazing cars. Put it on the radar - you will see what she can do soon enough.

Fair enough. No more posts from Norm for me.

Why in the world would you post in all caps?

So far, this thread is worthless.

I could easily post that I have the highest horsepower lawn tractor in the world, but who cares. Show me a dyno. Show me a drag slip.

Show me something.

And learn how to use upper and lower case.

Anybody that has been around here for a while knows that Norm has about the most "street cred" of anybody in the Vette world. (Vipers too if you're counting)

If he says he has the top dog Corvette, then I would believe him. Neither him or LPE have anything to prove, or any reason to lie.

Congrats to Norm and the Crew at LPE, sounds like a real monster
