Like I was told yrs ago, "Your search option is your best friend"
The highest I have seen is 230ish with an ECS kit...
Thank you. I did do a search but it comes up all over the place. I was wanting up to date info with all the new superchargers and products out there now.
Bill, I assume that is with the stock radiator. If so, upgrade to a dual core Dewitts.
Pauzao,
No not stock. I have the Dewitts radiator. I am running a 402 forged short block with Heads/Cam/T-trim/A&A fuel system/Meth injection/Headers ect.ect. 702rwhp/664rwtq.

Wow, so you do have the DeWitts and meth, which should cool your intake charge down and the IAT's as well. Make sure that everything is functioning properly. My only other suggestion would be to lower the boost a little? How old is your A&A set-up? Does it have the new and improved ram-air intercooler? 97 degrees is not that hot. Can you imagine if the tempts get well into the 100's?
201 is the highest I've seen so far, now granted I haven't many back to back WOT runs. Fans are set to constant on under 35 mph and start at the lowest possible setting.
235 on stock radiator and Kb setup. Need a Dewitts ASAP. Just need to figure out which one to order. I have the Z51 package, but the tranny cooler is junk and my trans gets hot because my radiator just heat soaks the hell out of it. Anyways I guess I can go with a Dewitts without a trans cooler, then just get an aftermarket trans cooler, but the question is do I stick with one that has an oil cooler too? Sorry, thread jack.
My son e-mailed DeWitts. They were very heplful and explained things and told him which radiator to order. It's on it's way. Also ordering a vented hood to let out some of the heat.

My temps stay in the 180s-190s when cruising around in the 80-90 degree temps we've had thus far this year....beating on it a little gets it up to about 200. I'm not sure what REALLY ******* it hard would do in those temps, but I can't imagine it would go too much higher than 210-215. The hood seemed to lower operating temps an average of 4-5 degrees.

Pauzao,
Thanks for your response. My Set up is brand new (2 weeks) I do have the improved ram-air intercooler and am running 10-11lbs. With the hp I am getting I think the intake air is cool enough but there may be someting up with the cooling system. Maybe air? Maybe a blockage in the cooling passages on the new block? I don't know.

Bill, I think that you are correct. You may be experiencing an issue somewhere in the cooling system. You have a DeWitts radiator, you are not running excessive boost, you are running meth, and you have the new and improved ram air intercooler. You should not be running that hot with your set-up.

How new is your forged block? I just added Diamond Forged Cylinders and my SC car temp went from average 210 (after spirted driving) to 230. I have been told the break-in on forged cylinders is 5K miles . from a VERY trustworthy source. I am running Rotella break-in oil for the 1st 5K miles and the (thank God) switching back to Royal Purple. I should then see my temps drop back to close to normal levels.
