The C6 car in my dreams makes 1400 and change if that counts...
Not sure what the set up is, I can never get past the naked Asian girls surrounding me, so I never get to drive it. The car that is.....
You live in heaven.........all those Asian woman and still in the good ole USA! I wonder if they have been Americanized? I have one and she is still pure Asian
as for the king comment, someone will always be faster, have more power, or just do more.
I will settle for "a bad a$$ ride" and we can give the king title to whoever wants it.
The power number really means nothing to me... all I care about are my ET's and MPH in the 1/4
..............and I agree...there are amny upgrades beyond power adders that make a car bad a$$. Suspension, austetics, and interior. The entire package - thats is THE CAR.
ours isnt the most but we did 1038RWHP on pump gas and meth injection. we also have a direct port kit on it good to 400 shot that we still have to use. Its a 427 LSX block through a AUTO. our issue is getting it to hook at the track..its just a c6 not zo6, no fender flares for big tires.

The gentleman with the 1500 HP "Duel Turbo" C5 is only running 8.96 1/4 mile, so I guess it's not ALL about the ponies eh. Not that that time is not awesome, but I think the others running the same are a bit less in the HP dept.

Well, as his turbos fight for honor, his tires too may be having a really tough time getting traction
I was at Englishtown when a supercharged C6 ran 3 13.X passes and then left... I've got R-Comps and my best times are still in the mid 11s...

I dont mean to be a total *rse but how can you say the 1/4 tells all? Its just like a very long dyno. lol one track might be at sea level and have REALLY good traction, another might be at high alltitude and have NO traction. Now the same car might run in the 8s on the good track and then 10s on the **** track.
Also with the 1/4mile you start to bring other things into the equatiuon like suspenssion. all this makes any car to car comparisons very difficult.
I agree that its actually using your car what you intened it for will show you how fast the 'car' is but it cant really be used for testing engine power.

again not trying to start anything
Chris.
I think mph in 1/4 is a good indication of power, but et is all in how its applied. My car has ran 150+mph at the track numerous times with et's in the range from low 10's to low 9's. My car does not like to 60ft.

I did that 5 years ago with 2/3 of that power in an aerodynamic BRICK on BFG drag radials.

EXACTLY! its hard to hook a 1000+ hp car in the 60'
