Default RPM's Speed Based Boost Controller

We have figured out a way to do speed based boost on these. We have done a few boost by gear setups but i wasnt 100% happy with them. We are in the process of installing this set up on a few cars at the moment and will keep you guys updated. I feel this is a better way to do it anyway. It will give you alot more control over a boost by gear set up. This will require a AMS1000 boost controller.

I'm doing the same, with the AMS1000 too, let me know if you run into ant glitches and I'll do the same.

The voltage converter from LPE tied into the AMS1000 is already done. It takes PPM and converts it into a 0-5V.

AMS1000 are an awesome piece. I have been using them for about 3 years on our race bikes.....

There are alot of option settings on there from Time based or Shift based or Ramped..........

We used them to push 25plus PSI in 7 seconds on our bikes

Aren't there concerns about wheel spin? If/when you break the tires loose RPM runs up quickly which will just ramp up your boost and compound the problem, no?
Also, is it by RPM and gear, or just RPM?

We will get speed from a front wheel or else it would be pointless to do. This is just MPH based.

quote from Jason @ Lingenfelter

We can't use the 128,000 ABS pulse per mile signal though (too high a pulse count).

Fran dont let the cat of the bag as you have taken the time to develope and bring to the market

PPM has to come from the rear. PPM from from ABS wont work according to Jason @ Lingenfelter. Now it sounds like Fran might have a work around on front ABS high PPM.

I built a gear position sensor to use with the ams1000 which allows us to run boost by gear in our ford gt twin turbo.

We've been using it for 2 years.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMuPknhk67I

I've recently parted ways with JM lexus and now have quite a bit of time to devote to working on one for the corvette six speed this month and will have finished product possibly two months from now.

The hardest part is the weatherproofing.

Now if I could just get matt and johnny to stop running too much boost in every gear, we should top 280mph in the standing mile.

We're having a grand opening for the new shop location in march.

I will be working with other boost controller manufacturers to get true "boost by gear" from thier systems as well in the coming weeks.
