Okay guys my pops told me last night he is throwing around the idea of tossing a blower on his 07 Z06 instead of getting a ZR-1. What are your thought for the best one out? Do you suggest doing Long tubes with it to really wake it up as well? and what kind of price range are we looking at? thanks in advance
i think the money isnt the situation its the bitching from my mom when he wants to get another car... he has had 10 cars in 5 years... that being said... the z06 has 8300 miles on it and i think he is trying to feel the power! so cam headers and a blower!?!?
All are good kits. Prochargers are ~6300. A&A and ECS are $5500 or so + radiator so about the same price as the procharger. All of them will make ~620-650rwhp. I would go with A&A or ECS just because of the support. I'm leaning towards an A&A kit just because they are closer to me then ECS. Both kits are top notch. Headers would help but I would look at doing a clutch to go along with the blower.
All of them will need a custom tune to work well. A&A or ECS can probably set you up with a mail order tune, and the full procharger kit comes with a handheld for a basic tune. Where are you located? I would find a good local shop to tune it if you don't know how to do it yourself. A&A is in Oxnard CA and ECS is in NJ I believe. Both have dealers all over the country. My local shop likes prochager but said they can get ECS too for good prices. I know ECS and A&A both have installers/tuners all over the country.
Just saw your in Denver. I'm not sure who is good there for install/tuning but if you called A&A I'm sure they can recommend someone.

Feel free to give us a call if you would like to discuss your options, we can also probably help you out with an install facility near you if you do not plan to do the install yourself.
Latest words on 11/1 from Edelbrock on the Z06 version...
"Our apologies for the delay. The parts are ready to ship. We are finishing up the tuning, which should be done shortly. We are at SEMA this week, so probably by the end of next week, the tunes will be done. We then have to have the tunes processed into the customer friendly format, by SCT. This usually takes 1 to 2 weeks."
