Default Cam selection

I know that there are several different options for cams. I am going to be installing a tti kit in the next few months and will need to change the cam again. I currently have the punisher cam in my 09 z06 (236/256 dur, 660/660 lift on a 111lsa) and realize that probably isn't ideal for a turbo. (or will it work for the time being???) First off are turbo and supercharger cams the same? If so I have seen specs on a lot of different s/c cams and on many there seems to be a lot of overlap and one thing I have read is that you don't really want that for a turbo. I want to keep the lope of my current setup but make it more efficient for the turbos. I'm hoping some of the forum members and sponsors can lead me in the right direction. TIA

Best of luck with your intension but I do hope you have another Vette to enjoy because after your project there will be less fun and more repairs. Don't get me wrong I am not a hater but a vette lover and a plain talker.

As long as a quality shop is performing the work and understands your goals, I see no reason why you won't enjoy your mods

Something a lot milder than what you currently have. I would shoot for a closer split and wider lsa, maybe a 235/239 116

I kind of figured on something like that. Are s/c cams and turbo cams the same?

Could work but not recomended, its best to get one for each application because of its power band.
