Wow, those are some numbers. Beautiful car, too! Looks 100% like a Z06, has the power and speed of a Z06, but none of the fallbacks - top is still removable. Nice job.

So its a regular c6 with a wide body kit? Im just wondering because does the wider rear quarters really help in any way. If you go to 18" wheels or the 15" with a spindle kit. Would it just be better to keep the reg quarters?? Thanks.

Great results!
Great looking car, and the fact it is a true street/daily driver and runs like that in pure street trim is just awesome!

I am going back on 05/29. I had a hookup at the track that I used and most likely they will let me run again. Looks like they never banned me and I still have my number registered with them. I am going to give it one more shot on 345/30/19 tires but this time I will be shutting the car @ 1/8 till I have that perfect launch dialed in before going for the money run. I have a STRONG feeling 9.7X is VERY doable

Yes, it is a C6 with Z51 package and full OEM widebody Z06 kit, exhaust and brakes etc. Rear quarters help in stuffing a wider tire definitely. It's basically a killer street car with a lot of audio equipment, Caravaggio interior (heavy Daytona seats) and I am really not that big into drag racing to bother with spindle kit and 15" wheels. That basically makes it a drag car and not street. IMHO. I know for sure if had 15" wheels in the rear I would be disgusted to drive it on the street. Personal preference nothing more.

I am not going for any records. All my past projects have been killer and reliable street cars that can be driven all over and still are capable of running low 10's

Thank you very much. That was exactly the goal for this one. A true sleeper. Stealth is what I am all about

I basically drove it from Michigan to South Dakota non stop in 2009 and then again from South Dakota to Kansas City and back. In 2010 I drove it from South Dakota to Kansas City at least three times and then again from South Dakota to Chicago and back to South Dakota without any hiccups. This year I drove it from South Dakota to Indiana (RPM Transmissions) and back to South Dakota and then directly to the track after a couple weeks. I try to daily drive it to my office when it's nice out. The car idles at 600 RPMs (stock cam) and it is so quiet you wouldn't believe it. I can start it up in the middle of the night and back it out of the garage without neighbors bitching

Here are a few videos that shows how quiet the car is and yes it IS snowing in the last video!

Here are some random pics of the car

Thank you. For seats contact Caravaggio directly. There are so many options. Mine were more expensive than a forged 427 motor BUT worth EVERY penny!

I have done a 1.85 60' on my RE-11's and I am pretty sure I am the world's worst driver as I've only successfully done a nice burn out without scaring the lane worker once.

So with 345 NT-05's and an automatic, wouldn't that point to the stall being too low for a TT car running 15.5psi. It seems like he's not fully into boost yet at 3200 rpm and with those NT05's is actually hooking and bogging. That would make for consistent 1.9x 60's right.

I don't think he can fix that problem with a stickier track or tires. I think he'd have to get a higher stall, but then that would make his street trim car a lot less livable.

I've never owned an automatic, or a TT Corvette so this is all just theory, but I do own a turbocharged car and know that launching it is incredibly tricky.
