Default Supercharged feedback

The deal is done and I am having an A&A supercharger installed on my 07 Coupe. I am having Veangance Racing do the job since they did such a fine job on my cam and Stage11 390 gears. Now I need comments from you folks that have been there and done that. I really want first impressions and seat of the pants experience about what the increased power really feels like.I am getting the V3SI unit. Thanks in advance for your comments and experiences....VNVETT

I have the A&A V2 unit. Let's just say the first time you nail the throttle you'll be glad you spent the money. I've had mine for a little over two years with no issues. A&A makes a great kit. Enjoy

I have the A&A V3 kit. I love it. Went through a couple of A6 transmissions though :-)

Also recommend hardening/upgrading your crank pulley. After about 12K mile on my kit, started getting a wobble.

Todays A&A kit is the best out there. I have done the upgrades to my 3
year old kit. The tune is real important.
It will make your car a BEAST!

Probably the most important thing anyone can tell is to "respect" what is going to be available and just about the time you think you can handle it all on street tires is about the time you'll have the assend try to pass the front end!

Time for some drag radials. 3.90 gears and 600+rwhp will make your car a tire shredder.

As far as the power delivery goes, don't expect a ton of extra power below 3000 rpm. Above that, expect the thing to scream. Mine makes ~10 psi up top, but probably only 3 or 4 psi at 3k. But even so, I did pick up over 40 ft/lbs of rwtq over my cam/header only setup when both dyno pulls begin at 2200-2300 rpm.

So good gains down low, but not like a Magnuson blower. I had one on a cam/head LS1 in a '67 Camaro. Thing made 500 rwtq as soon as the dyno pull started and stayed flat as a table all through the rpm range. I kinda miss that.

I will say that a centrifugal blower will make you want to hit the upper rpm range a LOT more often. Mine sounds like a jet engine when the boost builds; sometimes I think it's going to suck up kids or small animals off the side of the road

I agree completely. Only difference is I'm a bit more conservative maxing out @ 7.5 Lbs of boost. It's a daily driver with headers and really tame till 3K, then holy sh**!

As someone else posted "Respect the power"

Aint this a pretty picture?

+1.....

I was absolutely barbecuing the stock supercars in 1st/2nd/3rd with only 560 RWHP and the stock 3.42 gears. This setup is going to be a handful!

Up the boost, add meth, up the boost a bit more, motor lets go, put a stroker in it, bigger cam, add more boost, get a bigger blower, fuel system, etc. It never ever ends.

Yup. I didn't feel I had enough until I had 700ish at the tire.

Important tip - always make sure the car is up to temp before going WOT.

I'm at a lowly 512rwhp, but man is boost ever addictive.

Don't know how I survived driving cars with much less power.
