Did some testing yesterday: 60-130 in 5.88 seconds, 60 - 160 in 9.76 seconds and 100 - 150 in 5.93 seconds. Each was two shifts.
Car is a 2007 narrow body, z51, 6 speed manual transmission, 3lt. No weight reduction.
Modifications are as follows:
ECS/Paxton 1500,ECS stage 1 fuel system Methanol injection with single nozzle, Tial 50 BOV,Kooks 1 3/4 headers with catted midpipe, Z06 rear exhaust,4.10 gears, other supporting mods as well.
720 whpr, 643 tq on 93 pump and meth
Oh, running gear is: 18x8.5 front wheels, OEM, with Toyo R888 in stock size; 18x11 rear wheels, "tractionmonster" modified OEM fronts, with Toyo R888 in 305 35 18s
What are some of you guys hitting and with what mods? I am trying to gauge where am I in comparison to other modded Corvettes.

Not that my setup is like ur but looking forward to some better weather to test these twin 76mm turbos. If you go over to sixspeedonline.com they have a list of some sick fast 60-130 times.

Been to 6speedonline many times. There are some fast cars listed there but most seem to be awd. I was looking for comparison to rwd cars.
Here is a graph of our twin turbo ls1 maserati ghibli 60-130mph 4.8s @13psi pump gas 1 shift and car weights 1610kg (3550lbs) without passenger and driver
Actually this run has a video but it contains street race so i cant post due to forum rules

It's usually $50 and it includes Vbox timed 60-130 runs and usually also gets you 1/4 miles test n tune runs after the 60-130 event. They usually run them mid-day and test-n-tune 1/4 in the evening after.
Me and my pops are both going out to the next event (Whenever it is). He's got a tuned 997 turbo that moves out pretty good (high 120's in the 1/4) and we both want to see what our cars will do compared to some of these other fast roll-racing cars Should be fun, and typically a more high-end crowd goes out to this type of event vs the 1/4 mile events.

I've been watching but haven't seen anything about it. They advertise the 60-130 stuff, but I've never seen them actually do it. When you ask one of their crew about it. they seem to know nothing. If you hear anything, please be sure and post it up here or in the SW forum.
Imagine a car (UGR lambo) that is almost a full second faster from 60-130 than a built 427 blown auto vette with over 1000 rwhp (1swtride's car)...that is just silly....I know what .9 seconds is like on a drag race...its embarassing to say the least...so from a 60 kick I imagine its pretty bad too....several carlengths...
5.88 is very fast obviously, but ther are always those faster...unless you have $400K wrapped up in a UGR Lambo I guess! lol

Well, them not knowing anything certainly doesn't surprise me....I find that people that work at tracks are generally clueless.
I'll be sure to post up or shoot you a PM the next time I know they're doing it.

There is always someone faster. Notice how all but one are AWD. I would love to see more RWD times with specs of the build.
I will have ECS build something bigger and nastier but want to see how fast everyone else is what it took to get them there

Definately handicapped by being rwd...I wonder if a full slick would help a lot from 60-130? Like a 10-w tire? Hate to run that with a bias ply though!

I wouldn't worry about running the bias ply in a 1000hp car on the street for a 60-130 hit, but I would want bias ply skinnies up front and I'd probably bump the air up a little in the back from a normal 12-15psi to 18-20psi.
I asked some forum members to help calculate my 0-60mph time and started a thread. If you are interested in your 0-60mph times, there are a couple guys with the formula to figure it out
