Anyone ever see an E Force that had a leak in its intercooler core in the blower? Or have heard of such an issue?
I have not...but guess there is probably a first for everything! I'd pop the lid and take a look for signs of coolant if you suspect it is leaking internally. There is little to no pressure in the coolant loop so should be easy enough to find a leak with the addition of a little pressure maybe with a homemade fitting at the reservoir lid.
i've read hundreds of current and prior posts on E-Force and honestly your the first to mention internal leaks. i suppose lack of antifreeze in sub-zero temp could happen.
is your question... 'is it possible' or do you mean you actually have one?

i see, wow. i'd contact Edelbrock, ask if they would assisst in replacement or repair. i've heard only good things about them replacing questionable parts. they might be very interested in seeing the bad part.

Yes, we have started the process. I sent pictures to my rep, he to was shocked to hear about this. I know that they are a stand up company with an excellent reputation. The way that core is installed, the complete blower will have to be returned to Edelbrock. It isn't something one can just remove, it appears to be epoxied in place.
