Yeah Gus's car was doing work at TI for sure. That was a bad run for me traction wise, not that I would have beat him lol, as he had me covered MPH wise 8-10MPH all weekend, but I could have made it look a little better if it would have hooked lol! I trapped 147 that one according to the traps, where I had been doing 162-165 is I think Gus was doing 172-175MPH which is rolling out for this distance for sure! Those tall tires were working for him! Great event! I love it! Just got to work on getting a little better traction a lot of ppl were hooking up at the power level I was running all weekend which was about 18-19lbs which is about 1000-1025rwhp etc...
This car has always been consistent no matter what. It is a tough competitor, especially with Lethals dedication to win. Great runs Gus and the entire Lethal crew.
When you can get over 1000rwhp to the ground when peeps like me that are just below that cant is priceless. I love it when someone else does the research for me..
i am having issues with 15 M and H at my power level. i have no idea how you making those number and hooking on those rubber bands.
yes yes....."boost by gear" or whatever power is still power and still hard to hook. Prepped track is the only way.
Few things I notice, the pull started in 3rd gear, getting a car with that power to hook from a lower roll in 3rd is a lot easier than trying to hook 2nd.
They are spinning the **** out of it! 175 in 4th gear is 7400-7600!

Definately true about the second gear starts, but that was a third gear start for me and it didn't hook at all. As a matter of fact now that I look back it never hooked very well from this run forward the rest of the weekend. I'll chalk sunday up a little because of the rain we got sat night, but Gus still did well on Sunday with those 28.8" tall tires lol. That helped him get through the traps in 4th gear, but yeah he was spinning the **** out of it lol!
