No wide band - but this old timer has been around the block a few times. I won't do anything too stupid I promice you. In the past we had to tune without wide bands. They had them but over the top expensive. We always got the job done.

My goal today is get as much timing as possible with no KR.
My concern without using a wideband and fattening the PE table up is that if the MAF curve is off you could be commanding 11.0 but actually getting 10.0 or 11.5 (and it can go on).

Good luck I wouldn't go hog wild with timing until you can confirm your AFR @ wot. Glad its better already though!

The eforce kit doesnt come with a differetn MAF sensor so if yours has been changed I would find out what it is. Good luck and stay safe. Tuning wot without a wideband is not the safest of things to do.

Mine kit had it own MAF. I didn't use the stock one. It might have the same air flow characteristics though.

I just got back from a test run and I'm very close to being satisfied. I'm still getting a small amount of KR when I crack throttle around 2K to 4K rpm. Also, showing a bit lean under moderate acceleration below 3K RPM as the LTFT tend to rise.

Not sure how to fatten this area up. Ideas welcome

This might be my last post on this thread. I just want to let everybody know that my dilemma is over.

The problem was that somehow I managed to upload a corrupted file to the ECM. The file may have been damaged by a defective SCT hand held programmer. There were several parts of the file that were damaged. After Edelbrock analyzed the corrupted file they provided a corrected file that I uploaded to the ECM via HP Tuners. They have also been kind enough to help me tweek the tune to optimize it.

Also, I want to say that Edelbrock is a very good company with good intelligent people working there willing to help. My problem was unique and shouldn't reflect adversely on them what so ever.

The new canned program works well but not optimized. I have tweeked it a little here and there to remove a little KR and improve driveability. I was also able to increase timing because we have 93 octane here.

As soon as the tracks open I will post my times.

A big thanks to the forum and all that provided help.

Special thanks to Motorhead 47 and Chris Yonson.

LS2 kit ships with an LS3 card style MAF. That's why the LS2 kit sells for a few bucks more than the LS3 kit.

I'm not sure how much help I really was but glad to have been of some assistance and glad you have the car running as it should.

This will also be my last post on this thread and probably my last post on the Corvette Forum...going to move on and play with other toys.

You will be good at what ever you decide to do. I hope your decisions are of a positive note.
