Time to take the Z to the next step. I have been running the Texas Mile over the past several years. Fastest speed has been 197.6 mph. Looking to get over 200 mph. I registered for the Spring Texas Mile, So after that I started pulling the LS7 out of the Z. I will take some pictures along the way to show the progress.

Engine is removed and will be reinstalling the new ERL sleeved 427 over next weekend. YSI will a little juice should get me into the 200 mph range. It has been a long journey over the last couple of years collecting parts for this build. I am usually busy working on other people's cars, So now it is time for my build. I will try and update the progress over the next couple of weeks.
2.85 pulley, overdrive balancer
Breathless Performance diffuser, 4 tip
Mark, Not sure on tunning yet, Corey has tunned very well for me in the past, So I will give him first shot. It is going to be a hand full at the Mile.

I don't see 6 bolt heads. What head setup/gaskets/studs are you running? Aren't you worried about head gaskets?
If the car is set up right he shouldn't need them. I'm running a F2 on pump gas with a 4 bolt block. A good set of heads and a good tuner and there shouldn't be a problem.
I am a little worried about the head gaskets. I was not planning on running the YSI when I ordered the engine.
As for camshaft specs, Check with Lethal Performance or JM as it is one of there camshafts. They are on top of things at this hp level.

I sure would like to come over to your house and check it out since I live 5 minutes from you!
Wish I could attend the mile event, but need to continue to keep things under wraps, for now. I know you have been waiting to drop the engine in the Z for a long time. I'm certain it will come out very nice.
2.85+spray! Wow! My car was making like 800rwhp with that pulley around 5200rpm before it threw the belt each time, on a 402 with that blower. I'm guessing 210mph dependent upon DA and wind.
