I installed the engine today. No time to work on it during the week. Ran into some issues with the aftermarket scattershield. I had already modified it for the headers and trans cooler lines. I also had to modify the slave cylinder lines, Just did not make them big enough before I stabbed the the engine. Had to back out some and regrind a little larger. Hope to get the intake, cooling system and intercooler in tomorrow. Should be able to fire up late in the day. Then time for all the extras, Meth, aux fuel pump and Pfadt sway bars. Still need to order larger injectors, Looking at the Bosch 1200 from Arun. Will do the break in miles with the current injectors. Hope to get on the dyno in the next couple of weeks. I will post some more pictures tomorrow evening.

Been out of town the last couple of days, Did not get much done over the weekend. Radiator and intercooler mounting figured out and clearance for all the lines and fans. Hopefully this weekend will be more productive.
The fogger will be installed right before the throttle body. Looking at an aftermarket intake now to change the look a little and add some more hp.

I got the Z running this weekend. Runs a little rich due to the camshaft change, Need to get a quick tune and then some break in miles. Still need to build the fuel system and change injectors/intake assy. Need to add meth and install gauges. Changed the trans fluid with Royal Purple, Hopefully it will shift like butter.

Are you on the factory Tr6060? I know mine wasn't a fan if 800-850rwhp 5th gear pulls, and I know you've gone in to 5th a ton of times at the mile.

Factory trans with no upgrades. Talked to a local performance trans builder and he recommended no upgrades on the 6060. The gear setup in perfect for a 215 mph run. It will be in 5th for the last 1/2 mile.

Yeah, I noticed you shift to 5th in a video I saw of you before the 1/2 mark at Goliad, I believe. We kind of calculated that on a 26.5 inch tire, 215 was what base gearing is good for depending on RPM's. Our cars will do 172 @ 6800rpm in 4th, but on 17's with tire inflation. R6's probably don't inflate much, though. You might set the fastest street driven vette record!

Latest update on the progress. I have been driving for the last week. I put about 400 miles on it. Still not dyno tuned, Will have to wait until the fuel system is built. Raised the washer tank to install the meth kit. Had to add some roller to the radiator support due to my steep driveway. Not real happy with how low the header hang. The engine and blower sound really good, If you like it loud. Here are some pictures of the progress.

Looks fantastic! I've got a C6 plate you can have for the juice if you want it instead of the fogger.

That IAT looks real close to one of the meth Nozzles. Are you getting good logs?

Even with a DD I would expect belt slip with that 2.85" pulley on a 8 Rib. 10 ribs even start slipping pretty bad once you get that small. You may as well go for a 2.70" though since you are down there..
