@BlownLS3, was it the crank or a rod that gave out? I ask because the dry sump LS3's are supposed to have a stronger crank from what I understand. I think I read somewhere that you were producing 11 PSI is that right?
It was a connecting rod, not the crank. The rod broke in the #1 cylinder just below the piston. It had a clean break when it was removed. I believe it was pushing 11psi based on the last dyno tune. My LS3 was a wet sump car.

I basically got $18,000 for my C6 Coupe. I have been back several times to see how the repair is coming. They put it back to stock. So far, they must have at least 40 hours into the repair.
