Can tell you what doesn't hook, Toyo Proxes T1R's. Have 285's and spin them and 60 mph.

What is the biggest tire that can fit on a narrow body C6 on a 20x10.5 rim?

I have 17x11 with 275-40-17 on them. With 711hp and doing rolls at 40 and 60 they dont hook. What size should I go to on the 17's or should I go to 18's. I would like to stay with the 17's because I only do a couple of rolls a year and dont want to spend a ton of money on new wheel and tire setup.

Where are y'all buying your r888's from? I am looking to get into a set of them soon. I have narrow body and was figuring on running 305/30/19 and 255/35/18. Is that what others are wearing? Currently I have Nitto's Invo's 305's and 275's and the fronts are a bit too wide and the rears don't hook worth a darn..

I also run NT05R's. If a flat occurs I'll have one of my son in laws bring one of my spare rears. If I'm planning anything far away I'll switch back to my extra set of runflats.

Best to have a AAA membership whether you have a vette or not and a roadside kit from TireRack. This kit fits in the rear cubby too.

OK, I have my plan when the time comes. One of these recommended non run-flats for hook up. Already have AAA for flats close to home. This roadside kit with the liquid latex tire sealant for flats out yonder; should perform as well as run-flats according to provided Tire Rack link. If it screws up the TPMS and it has to be replaced, so be it. Thanks to all for advice.

I also run NT05R's and about 600hp. At the track with no good prep I got a 1.85 60ft spinning thru first with an A6 and stock converter. On the street they spin a lot from a dig but do good from a 40 roll.
