Is there a cable available to relocate the dashlogic under the dash instead of just plugging it into the ODB-II interface port underneath the steering wheel and having it hang down?
Quick question. When using a wideband do you connect the ground wire coming of the wideband as well, and if so where?
I had the same question when I was messing around with projecting my wideband data using the Dashlogic. I was told that they originally put the ground terminal there if needed, but found it made basically zero difference.
I'd just make sure the actual wideband controller module has a very good ground. I ran mine outside and into the engine bay, then grounded it to the frame rail along with some other factory grounds.

Thank you so much! I bought a plx wideband and was wondering about the two grounds.
I have the PLX AFR module as well, but decided to monitor my AFR/lambda using PLX's touch gauge instead of the Dashlogic.
But for what you want to do, it's just one wire that needs to be run and connected to the green aux connector on the Dashlogic.
Exactly what I need! I saw that on the dashlogic site there's a little formula to program into the device for proper reading. Did you have to do that? I really appreciate your help!

The PLX module is just putting out a 0-5 volt signal. You need to tell the DashLogic what that means as far as AFR goes. All the different wideband setups have different formulas.
But yes, I made a "user defined" PID and entered the formula provided by PLX. It's the same type of thing you have to do if you ever want to log wideband data in HP Tuners, etc.

I bought an OBD II splitter cable so I could use another device (DashTronix), but they make extension cables too. I'm going to need to relocate mine, as my back will not tolerate me crawling under my dash every time I want to hook up a USB cable to it and slide the switch. Tried and failed today. I'm going to try to rig it with velcro for easy breezy pull off and put on.
I posted in the other dash logic thread, but I see some people have posted issues on here.
I just got my dash logic, and last night I plugged it into my laptop and made a few changes. I need to monitor boost for my superchargers, so I selected the MPA pressure.
This morning was the first time plugging the dash logic into the car. I plugged it in, turned the car on, and nothing happens. The unit just blinks red. Hitting the lock button on the door does nothing. Anyone run into this before? Guessing a dead unit?
Already emailed palmer, waiting for them to respond, but figured I would post here as well to see if anyone had any suggestions.

Did you take it out of configuration mode? You need to slide the little switch over to whatever user profile you set up on your laptop.
Also, the engine usually needs to be running for me to see any data.
Oh, and that MPA PID probably isn't what you want. You want to choose "calculated boost" -- I think that's what it's called. When I first got my DashLogic, I had to make my own user defined PID, but I think it's something Palmer includes as standard with the latest firmware version. It should be there.
Yeah it was on profile one when I installed it.
I tried it with the engine off and running. Nothing
Ill have to change that pid then, thanks for the heads up.
Palmer responded, they want me to export my configuration file so they can take a look at it. Hopefully its an easy fix. Got my alky control kit going in today.

That's kind of odd. I guess the only thing I can add is to make sure your OBD port is working properly. You have any kind of scan tool or data logging device to verify all is well?
So, the PLX wideband tells me I'm at 10.1-11.9. This seems wrong for AFR.
Can change the PID to just be the analog voltage (10001) and see what voltage we are seeing from the PLX? Also copy and paste your calculation formula so I can check that.
