Sorry, not really sure what you're asking to be honest.

Dashlogic/HP Tuners do not interact or control each other in any way. Hp tuners logs/changes whatever you want to change

Dash logic just displays stuff on the dash/HUD

Default help?

I recently installed my plx wide band and ran it into my analog 1 on my daahlogic... I set up the pid.. As ((pid (10001)*2)+10) " I seen that on palmer performance configuration pdf , do not see anything on my plx instructions , however when I load on my car it reads volts...and not normal air/fuel reading like 14.7 it reads like 2.** volts.. did I do something wrong?

I don't have mine with me so I can't see all the screens in the config utility

I'm assuming you created or modified one of the "pages" on the DIC/HUD to use the custom PID you setup?

In the page I put the analog 1, but then I backed out of that and went to the custom menu setup where you can custom like 0-9 , typed the pid info set as 10001 " for analog 1, saved it... This is my first time using it so wouldn't surprise me if I missed something. Then on my plx sm-afr. I ran the wire from the bottom right analog output into my dash logic analog 1. Thank you

If you're looking at the instructions on their site, they appear to suck. The only show you half of the process.

First you need to create a custom PID, which it sounds like you did already.. that is shown pretty well in the instructions. I'm going to assume you named it PLX_WIDEBAND and have done that already. Basically, go into one of the custom PID's or calculation PID's, whatever they call them, and enter what you had, ((pid (10001)*2)+10). Name it PLX_WIDEBAND or whatever you want to call it.

The second part is actually making use of the PID you just created. That is not shown at all in the instructions I found on their site.

Go back to the home screen.. Then go into one of the pages of the DIC and/or HUD, use the advanced mode or whatever it's called where you can type in whatever you want. Somewhere on that screen there's a button, "look up PID" or something similar. Scroll pretty far down that list and you should find the PID that you just created, called PLX_WIDEBAND. It will have a PID number listed beside it. I think (and my memory sucks so this could be wrong) it's something like 20001 or 30001. Write down or remember what the PID # is. Close out the list of PID's

Now, you're back at the screen where you can enter whatever you want to show up on the DIC/HUD. Enter something like "AFR - {20001}" (without the quotes). Replace 20001 with whatever number you found in the previous step, i.e. the PID for "PLX_WIDEBAND" in my example. Save, exit, disconnect, and give it a shot.

If you were just telling it to display "analog 1" then it was doing exactly that.. showing you the voltage coming in through analog 1. You have to convert the voltage to a useful number first, then show the resulting value.

Sorry, if that doesn't make sense I can give you some screenshots this evening. I drove my truck to work today so I don't have the dashlogic with me so I can't get the screens to show up in their software

Good deal

Yeah it tends to do that. If running closed loop it will always go up and down a few percent even in steady conditions.. That's normal

I switched to using lambda, way easier to keep up with, IMO anyways.

what's lambda? Tuning software I just read about it when people talked about timing and proper afr.. I need to find a good tuner in my St Louis area, I picked this car up and don't know what kinda tune is on it which is why I rushed to get afr. IV been into 4cyl. Turbo cars and lifted diesel trucks this is my first and super sweet vetted just want to keep it reliable yet fun.!!

Lambda=1 means stoich for that fuel, i.e. 14.7:1 for pure gasoline. Lower=richer, higher=leaner.

AFR / stoich = lambda. So if you're seeing 12.2 then 12.2 / 14.7 = 0.829 lambda. It sounds more confusing at first but once you get used to it it's way easier and works better. It's also a lot easier to tell how far things are off when you're working around 1.00 instead of 14.7 or 14.1 or whatever stoich is for the fuel you're running that day.

It's kind of a universal unit of "AFR" for lack of a better word that takes the specific fuel out of the equation. Lambda=0.85 for example is always 15% richer than stoich. Doesn't matter if you're running E85, E10, diesel, propane, doesn't matter.

He tuned mine and he's great to deal with. I live 15-20 away from STL on the other side of the river. We should meet sometime. Please PM if you want to know my experiences with Dave and how he works. I'm currently out of state but I stay connected here

I may not get right back with you due to my school right now.

Default Dash Logic on Blown LS3

Hi, I bought one for my 08 A&A supercharged Vette with headers, catted mid pipe, intercooler, injectors, boosta pump and tune on about 6 lbs boost.
It Dyno'd with 598 to the wheels on a 6 speed auto but the HP & torque readings go over 750hp at WOT times giving inflated readings.

I found the profiles and PID caclulations but not sure where or what to to adjust for my car.
I would like to use this but need to know what settings I modify. PE just sent a configuration guide that doesn't address my setup. I have no added or extra sensors.

The HP number is just a rough estimate at best.. depending on tuning, there's no telling how accurate (or inaccurate) it is

What settings to modify for what? HP/TQ are estimates based off airflow amounts. On a more modded car I wouldn't expect them to be close to accurate.

So there is no use for the thing if it's that unreliable. To the sale thread it goes!! Thanks!!
