Default Diff and Trans Cooler

Trying to get some opinions on running or not running the trans and diff cooler on a zr1 tr6060 and diff. Car is making 900-1000 and will see street duty and mile and half mile events.

Do or dont. Doesn't really matter. Haven't had a trans cooler on my t56 or 6060 in a long time. Zero issues at ~1200rwhp for 1/2 miles and 10k+ street miles.

I recommend that you keep the trans cooler or at least run a loop line to keep the input gear well lubricated and help prevent it from cooking the input and cluster gears.

Thats what I did. Just looped it. Goes 1/4" up trans tunnel then back so pump/etc is still working. I figured that stuff is more for road racing stuff, and 15 seconds of WOT shouldn't be enough to over heat the tranny.
