i have a 922 on my car with 3.55 pulley but every car is different. you don't need any special pulleys with your setup.

imo take the belt off and put a calibrated laser tool on each pulley. i bet the new bracket is causing stuff to be off.

nah just a laser that fits into the grooves on the pullies basically. Shoots laser out so you can see if pullies are aligned or not. It's a bit of a PITA to use on C6's. Not much room, but is doable. I broke a belt on mine, fixed alignment, never had an issue since

Just go to the parts counter with the belt and ask for one size shorter belt, get one shorter then that too and return the one you don't need.

I had a major problem throwing belts and had to buy several as they were getting chewed up. After rechecking the alignment several times, belt tension etc, etc., I contacted the guys at A&A who told me that I didn't have enough bov. I immediately threw on a 50mm Tial bov and that took care of my belt issues.

Different blower setups, but I went from the little Procharger bypass valve to the JGS 60MM dual port valve.

Look at the belt chart and pick one size smaller. Gates has it on their website. Find what you have now, and order one smaller.

That or your top tensioner needs a lot more added. THat looks like what it should be with no added tension, then up top when you use the manual tensioner it should pull it open almost all the way.

Sometimes the few dollars saved isn't worth the frustration. Time is money.

All you needed one one size smaller. If you looked at the belt size chart you could have just ordered one belt.

What size is on there now?

The spring loaded tensioner should basically be all the way open when you tighten the manual tensioner. I can check it out next week if the car is at your place
