Just fine. Only seen 108-109F but running nice and cool. A/C works great, no issues. Suppose to be 120F on Monday but I'm in Boston so no way to test it.

What fans are those? Never seen that setup.

I Like. Mounting the fans down low pushes a lot of air under the car and around the bottom of the motor. Where did you buy the fans from?

I like that setup as well. Where did you get it or is it custom?

I bought the fans from DeWitts and had them build the shroud to fit their cut down radiator. I had them mount them as low as possible without going off the core to clear the blower.

That setup looks awesome. Any special wiring needed to run this?

Since they are the Nuova fans, then yes they need their own harness, temp sensor, etc. My single 17" came with everything needed. Just install temp sensor, run power/ground, and done. Only thing I need to go back and do is wire in the AC override since AC doesn't work until car gets to 170, but no big deal.

My 17" setup was ~$650ish, so I wonder what that dual 11" and if it actually works better. One reason I like the 17" is it leaves a good amount of the radiator unshrouded so on highway/etc air can pass through easy, since fan doesn't have a speed shut off function.

yeah no vent holes on the shroud would prob run hotter at highway speeds, but should work great for low speed cooling. My car runs great on the highway with the Dewitt's and stock fan and non existent shrouding lol and sucks for low speed. This looks to be a good alternative to d3 fans if the pricing is right.

Got them installed today and drove about 40 miles home and never got above 196 with the ac on, even though it was only 92 outside its still a win. Yesterday it was over 210 sitting in traffic. I'm sure once I add an oil cooler it will be even better.

Looks like your going to get to test your theory with the temps coming up.

I remember those three months of 100+ degree days when I lived in Gilbert!

The heat is on (but it's a dry heat)!! Time to get the oven mitts out

Just picked up an ECS Supercharged Grand Sport 2 months ago. Already preparing to upgrade the cooling system as the guy said it ran ~225+ out in Florida and our summers out here in AZ are way worse. Good read in this thread

D3 works good. Or just swing by CPR and do what they say. They have a sweet fan setup that works amazingly well.

Stock radiator cools great, it is the fans that are the issue on AZ blower cars.

Has anyone used a mark VIII fan on a C6? It seems like it would fit on a stock radiator and airflow rating is much higher than our stock fans. I know Dewitts did a comparison back in the day that said the mark VIII is very similar to a dual spal 11". I have a Taurus fan on my 1981 vette and it moves way more air than my stock Z06 fan.

My current 2010 z06 with ECS 1500 kit gets to 245F easily in traffic with the A/C on. I am looking for a cheap alternative to the other fan options on the market today.
