Default Head stud install question...

so I installed/ torqued all bolts down on heads....but one left me concerned. Between 25ftlbs and 50ftlbs (torqued to 50 ftlbs fine)the bolt moved.....not sure if it was just not completely seated or what??? Didnt think much about it (til now) and went on to next torque value....all nuts torqued out to 80 ft lbs w/o issue.....not sure if I need yo be concerned? I just don't want to put whole car back together and find out I need to rear it down again???

I would not be concerned personally if it were mine, for whatever that is worth. That is assuming it torqued normally and didn't feel like anything weird was going on. If it was just seating the stud the rest of the way in when you did the lower torque value then torque totally normally to the final value, then it shouldn't be a big deal at all.

+1 but if you're concerned you can always crank em loose and start over. They are reusable.

Studs are a pain in the butt for sure.

If you were able to get to final torque on all of the bolts, you are fine.

Interesting article in the post above, however.
