I had to upgrade injectors as well from 1300s to 1650s because I’m running E. I didn’t think I’d need that much injector, so the 1650s are most likely overkill but at least it’ll be a while before they need to to be upgraded. Buy once, cry once. Lol.
Are you pushing water? I ask because you stated head gaskets. Mine pushed some out of the expansion tank cap once on the dyno & some of the first street pulls with the new setup, so I’m in the process of investigating mine currently. I’ve got Cometics & good studs, so I was hoping to avoid any head lifting shenanigans. We’ll see. In the meantime I’ll keep enjoying the the journey. Lol.

Pushing coolant, yessir. Matt's on it though and has a good plan.
Good deal. Let us know how it goes. Planning to take mine out for some street pulls next wk with hopes mine was a faulty expansion tank cap. Fingers crossed.

Brother I have my fingers and toes crossed for you! Get some draggy 60-130 data, would love to see what your pulling.
Trust me, I know about the money. I don't chase Dyno numbers either as unlocked converters never tell the story.. But track times do. Get it tuned and go run it.. Then turn it up if you're not happy. And FYI, 15s aren't needed for autos!
Mind if I ask about your suspension setup? My car's LS3 with cam, ECS 2200HD, and Circle D 3800 triple disk. Running 275/60/15 ET street R's. I have stock suspension and i have to roll into the throttle slightly otherwise it wheelhops. Even with my horrible IAT's pulling all my power out up top i think a really hard launch will about get me to my 5.99 1/8 time i'm after.

They were having problems with the MPH in that lane but according to my logs it was about 113MPH. Computer is pulling a TON of timing out up top because of the IAT's climbing so much and we have it set real safe.
Undecided07....it's all stock suspension.
I’m in the same boat, trying to go fast on an all stock undercarriage. Lol. 1.3 sixty footers are moving out for any street car, especially considering the all stock hardware. Hoping to have mine back out soon for testing. Good luck.

IMO your IATs are costing you more then the 60ft. Your mph shows something is going on up top, but your 60ft shows that its hooking.

The Menscers are on order, so i'll get some real world data on the stock suspension on my setup and then see what the upgraded coil overs will do.
My goal for this set up is 8.99 or faster, stock suspension has shown that it can handle that on a well prepped track but I want great 60fts on no prep as well.
Subscribed for upgrades. Curious to see what your improvements look like going from
leaf springs to a coil over set-up. Who did you buy the coil overs from? They give you any setup advice as far as a starting point for our particular platform?

Menscer coil overs
I told Matt at Twenty first century I want to hook on the street and track and he unequivocally suggested Menscers. I'm sure he'll give me advice on settings once they get here. They are custom made to order, so we're 4-6 weeks out.
After watching the footage again, I can’t help but wonder if the super short first gear the 6spd auto cars have cause a ripple in the power delivery that may unload the chassis. Obviously some guys have figured it out, just an observation.
My tuner & I believe we’re losing a decent amount of power through my sloppy converter & transmission. We’re most likely at the limit of what a 4L60 type transmission is going to put up with for long. They’ve put together a bunch of D1X combos with both LS & LT motors that put down north of 900 rwhp. They’re convinced with the converter tightened up or locked & a hard tire mine combo would be putting down some mid 900s for power. However I’m waay more interested in track numbers & wins than anything else.
the monster 4l65x builds with all the good parts are now rated at 1000 at the tire. I have an older RPM build rated at 800 at the tire which has been living ok on street tires
on slicks at the track, might be too tough on it and it will need freshening up after the drag strip abuse Tough to hook but the auto really helps!!
I'm goindg with a d1x and e85 with a target of around 900 rwhp out of a build 416

The 6L80E im using from Century Automotive is rated at 1100RWHP. I'll let you know how it handles the boost level I'm at.

Mine has been flawless up to this point, I’ve got no complaints. I’m definitely hoping it will hold with the new blower set-up for a while. RPM says that it should hold along with freshening up on an annual or biannual basis depending on use. I’m trying to keep the car lite to aid in the cause. Good luck with your build.

My car is a base, not Z51, so it has the base springs. Stock rear swaybar with front removed. Stock C6Z shocks in the rear with QA1 single adj up front - the ONLY reason I put the qa1s on it was the stock shocks were wore out and were making constant squeaking noise which irritated me, with that being said the car still worked great with loose stock front shocks. The car worked good on the stock base rear shocks when it was NA and nitrous car, would go mid 1.3s. When I added the blower and more power, it would initially hook off the line and unload/spin a car length out or so, put the stiffer C6Z shocks on it and that helped a lot. 60ft in that pic was a 1.25 on the 305/45R17 MT R tires.
Going to Thunder valley tomorrow for test an tune. I am not expecting anything spectacular but just incase we're only gonna do like 2-3 shakedown passes and a few 1/8 hits.
