1-4 Skip Shift Eliminator

Drifting
Got my CAGS eliminator form you a few days ago. Yours looks different than alot of the others. They all have another piece hanging off by 2 wires(resistor). Does yours have the resistor built inside to prevent throwing codes? I plan on putting it in this week.

I'm in Canada and ordered a CAGS on-line (order number 2013) and had confirmation by e-mail on Jan 12 but so far nothing showed up and no response to my e-mail or phone message either.
What's up with that?

As I said in my email, shipping to Canada can take over a week. Lets give it till Monday, if it does not show up I will ship you another one or I will gladly refund your money and you can get the skip shift somewhere else. If it shows up, you can consider it "free" since it took so long to arrive.
Thanks,
Jim

To be accurate, we have not been conversing, I sent two e-mail and two VM without response and only got an e-mail from you after I posted here.
Let's wait a bit longer for it to arrive, although it did say in your original acknowledgment that it was shipped on the 12th of January and today is the 27th.

No more international shipping for me on small orders after this one. Too many products never arrive and nobody wants to pay shipping that costs as much as the item.

will be a C-6 6sp owner this sat and was just browsing and came across this thread. Not sure what you guys are talking about the tranny shifting to 4th at the wrong times, but I'm sure I'll find out soon enough and order one of these things. Does this happen also to c-5 owners cause I have a couple of friends who have C-5's with 6 sp and never head them say anything about this.

Order placed
Placed my order a few hours ago and already received Jim's personal order verification updating me on my order status. Also picked up a few other things and will definitely come back to order more goodies another time. Thanks!

The MN6 from inception on 1989 (C4) models had the 1 to 4 skip which engages at 12 to 19 MPH. It is rarely that you will try shifting into 2nd at this speed. If you don't want an override, just put it in 4th where it is forcing you to go and throw it down into 3rd. I never thought 4 th gear was safe at 15 MPh as there is no torque then. Why would GM still need this on an LS2 getting 28 MPG?

there is another thread that says all you have to do on a C6 to disable the skip shift, CAGS , 1 to 4 shift, is pull the manual transmission fuse in the fuse box.............
search some of the other threads for details

Hmmmm.....not sure about that solution. I have never tried it. I think you will probably throw out codes on your DIC if you try that. The skip shift that I am offering will not give you any error codes on your dic.
Thanks,
Jim
