I just picked up my C6 Silver Z51 M6. I know I saw a thread on this somewhere. There is this little rattle from behind the driver seat that drives me nuts. Someone on this forum had the same rattle and had a remedy for it. I have not jumped back there to see what it is yet. Anyone else have this.
I have a Black Z51 6 spd with 2500 miles on it. When I have a passenger in the car and go over a very rough road, there is a rattle behind the passenger seat. If you unbuckle the seat belt, the rattle goes away. I will be taking it in for service soon. Try unbuckling your seat belt and see if the rattle stops.

I just had an annoying rear end rattle fixed yesterday. The problem was a loose exhaust hanger, causing the pipes to bang around. The bolt was almost completely out.
Interesting, the rattle does seem to be coming from within the car vs. under it. My rattle almost sounds like something in the back. But the exhaust hanger is an excellant suggestion, thanks.
The 2 bolts that fasten the rear facia to the frame mounts down at the bottom next to the exhaust pipes were both loose to the point of falling out on my C6.
The rattling noise they made sounded like it was inside the car. They are right above the exhaust outlets and are easy to tighten.
The same guy that bolted on my Crankshaft Pulley must have been working double shifts that day at the other end of the line.
