Default 150 Shot

Can any of you tell me if my new C6 can handle a 150 shot Nitros on the motor. Will it void the warranty on the car not just the motor? How can it or can it be hidden enough for the dealer not to see it.

Thanks,

Ted

I installed nitrous for Xtreme Motorsports now Corvettegarage for years on C-5's. Here is the truth. Your only hope is to have a system that is easily removed. Now, there are many more "plug and play" options that would make for an easily removable system. As for 150 shot....I have installed many 150 shots in c-5's No problem. I have even heard of people running upwards of 175 on facotry motors. I don't think that it would be a problem with the C-6. Let me know if you have any other questions. Just make sure that you run NGK Tr-6's and check the air fuel ratios on a dyno. You should be fine. Also make sure that you know what detonation sounds like so you can get out of it!

Yes we have installed a couple of NX kits on the C6's with the 150 jets. Every thing works fine with the 6pds but the A4's have issues.

Do either of you suggest a easily removable system (plug-n-play).

If you do damage the motor internally the mechanics will in all likelyhood be able to tell that N20 Was used. So I have been told

Has anyone heard of Speed Inc. in Schaumburg Illinois? I am looking to get some work done there and would like to hear from anyone that has used them.

Might want to ask about the place in your regional forum...more locals and more likely to have someone that knows about them...just a suggestion

Nope, just a little more is what I need. 500 hp sounds so nice.
