When driving my car hard tonight, my wife saw sparks come from the exhaust but not out the tips. Does this means there is a exhaust leak at the flange? The dealer recently had to take the exhaust off and back on again to change my clutch. Could this be that they did not tighten the bolts enough? If anyone has an idea let me know.

Thanks,

The only way you should see sparks in the exhaust area is if the mufflers are dragging the ground.
They don't scrape the floor. What else would cause it?
Well if it isn't abrasion of metal due to something rubbing, the only other thing I can think of is that the cats have broken up and are spewing bits of glowing platinum coated ceramic out the back.

Hmmm malfunctioning OEM CATS??? Could be good news and replace with some HIGH flow cats and long tube headers.
Is everything fine now? I noticed the one time I pushed it to say 500 from redline I notice my clutch has a shorter throw as it is sinking is that by design not that I do it that much.

You can get it replaced at the dealer. They came out with a new clutch 4/8/2005. There is a TSB on it now. It will take about 3-4 days to do.
