GM swithced to CAN communication on the C6 instead of Serial like most previous vehicles. You cannot use a Tech 2 without the Candi Module that adapts it to read CAN. GM doesn't readily give this code out to everyone since it is considered proprietary. Vtronics makes the Tech 2 and Candi Module. Expect ~3500 for a new Tech 2 and an additional 1500 for a Candi Module.

I am looking for an affordable model that I can use on my other cars in addition to the Corvette. I work a little on friends auto's and I thought OBD11 car's were all compatable for the simple stuff.
