Default Borla Stingers?

Anyone install or know of an install of Borla Stingers w/ X-pipe on a C6? Does anyone know of a site that has audio of Borla Stingers? I want to install an aftermarket system; heard stingers on a highly modded C-5 and they sound agressive but a bit loud (he was also runnihg Kooks Headers. Hoping they sound quieter on a stock C6. Your comments please.

I have had Borla stingers with x-pipe on my C6 for 12,000 miles.
The Borla website has a "hear it now" icon - little hard to see it unless ya look for it.

Default Just Installed

I just installed the Borla Stainless Steel Cat-Back System Aggressive Part # 140128 yesterday. My friend who had installed Corsa'a on his C6 was impressed with the sound as well; we both concluded that the Borla system had more of a higher pitch sound. His close friend has a Ferrari with Borla's on it also, and my C6 sounded equally as good.

I am not a mechanic and do not know if Borla’s are better for performance than anyone else’s product, but I do know I am in love with the sound!

Borla stinger performance...

I had my C6 dyno'ed during the CorvetteForum Cruise-In VI in May of this year, 349 RWHP.

Depending upon who you talk to, that is about 12-14 RWHP above stock.

There is a thread of some clips I made with stock/no exhaust/borla stinger w/ xpipe on my C6.

I have had them on my car for a few thousand miles now, I really like the sound of them and the burble/bark when you let off the gas

not in my opinion, but as a former USMC weapons instructor who did not wear earplugs very often, you may want a second opinion.

Under 2,000 rpm the cabin environment is pretty quiet, and over 3,000 rpm you should not be talking to a passenger anyway.

Stingers or "Sports" are great. Z-51 MN6 without "X" pipe. Have had them for 3 mos. Great sound at idle and MO Betta at WOT.

I have heard Borla & Corsa side by side, on unmodded C6s before I made my decision. Borlas are noticeably deeper toned & slightly louder.

Initially I reported a drone at constant throttle @ 1,500 to 1,700 RPM. The drone is more noticeable on acceleration at those RPMs. With age it seems less noticeable but then maybe it’s my old former Navy Gunnery Officer ears.

Digitalman took off Borla for B&Bs.
