trunk release button stuck again

trunk release button stuck again
is it hard to fix this myself or should i take it in?
some people said that it is just dirt that collects inside and it just needs to be cleaned out is this true (and easy to do?)

This is a simple fix. The part was under $30. Check out this link.

, cleaning the switch did not work for me, replaced it and no probs now.
