Default Too Loud

Does anyone have any idea how to quiet the Corsa SPorts down a little? I have headers on now and it got much louder. I like the sound but can get annoying with the added power. I am thinking of putting back on the stock exhaust. Help me decide.

Put the stock exhaust back on. Sounds good, looks good, works well and you keep from annoying others as much as yourself.

An X-Pipe is suppose to moderate the sound. Never use one myself.

I think the high flow cats and the headers made it way to loud for me. You can not change to the touring version since my X pipe is part of my Dynamaxx system. I would need to go back to an H pipe.

Would be great if someone with headers and a stock cat back would post a sound file. I am considering the same.

Default Hard choice

only way to quiet them down, is to dump them or try the touring resonators. I have magnaflows and kooks, plus a cam and it's a great sound but not loud at all. No cabin resonance of any kind. I've heard the sports at a vette gathering and they are really loud. I don't know you can stand it. You've really got to like noise to want the sports.
Good luck with your changes.

I thought the Corsa Sports were not very loud? Or are they only loud when you have them with headders? I have thought about Headders and stock cat-back because I don't want any drone at all!

C6nut,
I would suggest adding two 'resonators', one on each pipe next to the transmission. this will introduce minimal restriction but will reduce the sound comming from the headers that is being introduced to the mufflers. Just my 2c. Good luck. Dollarbill

If your exhuast does not set off at least 5 car alarms within 100 feet, it is not too loud.

Just finished the Stock install. It has a nice rumble to it. It also feels faster for some reason.

Yeah man..Just get two bullets...and have them added in... that would quiet it down enough...if not, go back to the stock exhaust man.....
