Default Installed Lingenfelter intake

Install took about 4 hrs with 2 of my friends helping. SOP dyno resulted in definite gains. Sounds awesome with Corsa sports. The sound is a deeper intake sound. Not a sucking sound but more of a baritone bellowing growl. Quality of the intake is top notch and directions were very straight forward. If you are mechanically inclined do not hesitate to tackle the install. You do need jack stands or I just used some Rhino Ramps. Definitely worth the $395.

I have the Callaway exhaust.

I have already ordered long tube headers. A LPE cam and a tune might finish my tuning project

Magnaflow mufflers; 349.91HP. 346.41TQ 6-9-05

+ Supermaxx headers; 365.43HP, 361.84TQ 8-19-05

+ Lingenfelter CAI; 378.60HP, 370.55TQ 9-2-05

All thats left is a computer tune.

sweet Hal! Are you happy with the headers? I'm thinking that's my next mod so I'm in homework mode.

Very happy with the headers, the CAI and the mufflers. I do wish that I'd done a base dyno so I could believe the aprx. 10HP that the mufflers seem to show. I think the combination of full exhaust and intake bolt ons is the way to go, they all complement each other and work together.

those look like good numbers to me Hal, 10 RWHP is very believeable for a catback exhaust.

I have the early template and am waiting for the updated one. What adjustment was made?

The line that lines up with the break line in the shroud was mistakenly moved a little during enlarging of the first batch of instructions.

You can see the updated version here:
http://www.lingenfelter.com/document...structions.pdf

page 4 shows the updated language.

Feel free to e-mail me if I can help

Ed, would you recommend the Vararam spacer with my intake kit?

While we have not tested this particular piece with our airbox, my opinion would be that it's un-necessary. I do think it would also alter the location of the airbox, and make it difficult to properly seal the LPE airbox to the shroud due to mis-alignment.

If you do decide to get one and try it, let me know how it works out.

hope this helps,
Ed
