Default 2005 Vert Trunk Lid

Am I the only one that has to slam the trunk lid shut on my 05 Vert? Should the closing action be motorized when the trunk door is closed? This seems sort of strange

When I took delivery at the NCM, they told me it requires a fair amount of pressure to close. I've been slamming it ever since.

Trunk lid is not motorized...."firm" pressure required to close.....shouldn't have to "slam". If so, latch may not be properly aligned.

Default Just make sure a door is open when you close the hatch it will be effortless

Just a light touch and it will catch. No force needed when door is open.
